"So let me be clear: Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile activity poses a real threat, not just to the United States, but to Iran's neighbors and our allies. The Czech Republic and Poland have been courageous in agreeing to host a defense against these missiles. As long as the threat from Iran persists, we will go forward with a missile defense system that is cost-effective and proven. (Applause.) This is another example of President Obama’s endlessly nuanced mendacity. In his column today, “Does He Lie?”, Charles Krauthammer writes, “Obama doesn’t lie. He implies, he misdirects, he misleads — so fluidly and incessantly that he risks transmuting eloquence into mere slickness.”

Further, he allows others, like Jimmy Carter to lie on his behalf. He bobs and weaves; he dances; shifting and equivocating to different audiences, in varied venues, on different continents. One version for the Russians, another for the Czechs, still another for the generals, and yet another for the party faithful. He is the worst sort of liar; one who is deliberate and highly skilled. In an age where every move and word is recorded, I pray he is “too clever by half.”
