Bush and OB treat Iran as if they were the USSR and subscribe to Mutualy Assuerd Destruction. The leader of Iran is a religious fanatic who believes it's his responsibility to bring about the end of the world. He doesn't give a damn about mutually assured destrcution. He is counting on it.

I cannot think of such a quantum leap in worldwide danger as these fanatics getting the bomb and us sitting back doing nothing.

Impossible, Chairman Maobama just nixed the missile shield in Eastern Europe because Iran was nowhere near accomplishing these little foibles.
