The Working Families Party is pretty much like the Pelosi Democrats but they formed because they didn’t want to have to kiss up to the muckety mucks that have been running the show for years. The whole term limits issue was a big one. About three or four incumbents on the City Council got booted out. Christine Quinn, almost got her backside whupped—but it was a 3 way race. If it were her and Maria Passanante Derr, Quinn would have lost. She is trying to hang on Bloomie’s coattails and supported flip flopping on term limits. Thompson isn’t that great (at all) but folks are sick and tired of Bloomie. The GOP hasn’t got a chance in this town and should save their bucks for some upstate contests.

Thompson has no chance what so ever of winning. Sadly the sheeple will vote in Bloomie no matter what. Not that Thompson is a prize, but after what Bloomie and his shills pulled with term limits, it should be a no brainer. However he has the Libs thinking he's a financial genius and will save us all from the recession, that they will vote him in no matter what. Like they say, money talks and B.S. walks.
