Pelosi Punts on ACORN: A Few Bad Apples?

At her Capitol Hill press conference today, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said of the growing ACORN scandal that "a few individuals at ACORN did what I think is--what would be the appropriate word? Some have said despicable, but in any event totally unacceptable and in my view inexcusable." Later she repeated that "a few people have embarrassed ACORN," observing that ACORN was conducting its own review of the matter. "We have to have our own scrutiny," she said. Any decision to keep language (passed 83 to 7 by the Senate) in the final bill that would strip HUD and Transportation funding from ACORN will be up to the conference committee, she said.

As Pelosi ducked into an elevator after the presser, I asked her if she would allow a vote on separate House bill to strip all funding from ACORN. She did not reply.

"We haven't seen the bill" to strip all funding from ACORN, Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami told me after the elevator doors closed. "When we see the bill we can start to talk about that."

She drained the swamp and found it full of blue alligators so she refilled the swamp with even muddier water.

“Alligators? What alligators?”

This is the worst Speaker of the House in US history.

And by far the craziest, most deceitful, and most corrupt to boot.

"When we see the bill we can start to talk about that."

She's going to start reading bills before voting on them?

“She's going to start reading bills before voting on them?”

THERE'S a novel idea!!

The truth is, if ACORN supporters could document support for their LEGAL activities with any HARD FACTS, they would. NO ONE is able to properly account for what the h%$# ACORN is doing.

There are more than a few bad apples in congress, so she could be viewing things in a relative sense.

What are the odds of grabbing the only bad apples in a barrel? The amateur journalists, who uncovered this corruption, just picked ACORN offices, and staff at random.

Like we all didn’t know Pelosi is a lying criminal bitch, and she would use her office to protect her criminal associates.

They’re shaking in their boots that someone at the IRS is going to take a critical look at the returns they’ve been “assisting” people with. They make a point of stating they help people get the EIC (Earned Income Credit) which is supposed to be there to help raise children, but has become nothing more than a yearly jackpot of cash. And ACORNs role is to see how much we can get you.

Given the statements made on the video tapes about claiming underage hookers as dependents, I would be willing to guess, that you would see tax returns claiming pets, dead people, nieces and nephews, and everything else being claimed as a dependent to increase the EIC. This is what these people are advertising they do - help you “get the most money from your tax return”. Open an IRS audit of all returns filed by or with consultation from ACORN - you’ll turn up millions of dollars stolen from the US taxpayers.

P.S. The morons who work in these offices would need to be taught how to fill out these forms and how to “get over” on the IRS. The higher ups are most definitely on the hook for this - if it ever happens (i won’t hold my breathe).

What are the odds of grabbing the only bad apples in a barrel?

There are 1,200 chapters. If these four are the only bad apples, they had a 0.33% chance of hitting one of them on the first try, a 0.25% chance of hitting one of the remaining three on the second, a 0.17% chance of hitting one of the remaining two on the third, and a 0.08% chance of hitting the final one on the fourth. If they hit only four chapters, then the chance of hitting all four bad apples overall would be 0.000000001%, or about 1 in 89 billion.

But we know they hit more than four, so that end number is going to go either up or down depending on what the results were.

Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
