I am from the South and therefore unreliable. Do I remember correctly that some guy from Texas who recently was President said something about yellowcake in Iraq - the phrase ‘16 words’ rings a bell - and was pilloried for that? I believe the operative phrase was, “Bush lied, people died.” Now, the operative phrase is ‘faulty anecdote.’ My, my, how the times, they be a changin.

Obama lied, liberty died.

The shackles of socialism will not easily be cast off.

They have no defense when the medical plan is called socialism. The best they can muster up is that we already have SOME socialized medicine in America and it would be more convenient to go whole hog.

Considering that the big 0 does not write his own speeches, the bigger question is why his staff writers didn't do even the least bit of research before including the anecdote.

Of course, he is still responsible (well in theory) for what he gathers from the teleprompter.

A real press would have mentioned this in balance to the Wilson pillorying of the last week.
