I am at work when Rush and Beck are on. But I keep up with what is being said and done. I listen to Levin on my long commute home in the evening.
IMHO, Rush is a ground breaker, a leader. Beck has done some excellent work and making a huge name for himself. I love the knowledge and fire that Mark contributes.
I was disappointed that Levin took the bait. Through loyalty or for whatever reason.
We all fight on the same team, and united these folks are unbeatable (as are we).
The ratings war need to be retired. That's what it boils down to. But we are fighting a very big battle. I am disappointed.
Amen.
The fact of the matter is that Rush could never have called for activism. His listeners were already being pegged as mind-numbed robots. It was given to him to teach and inspire.
While Rush's humor is sharp and cynical, Glenn's is just flat out wacky. He also pulls people in emotionally and connects on a much more personal plane than the rest.
Levin is brilliant. He explains legalities and history in a way that I probably couldn't have quite grasped had I not cut my teeth on Rush first. And he yells at people, when I'm in the mood to yell, I enjoy that.
They are all so necessary. I really hope this blows over without factions forming.
