Did anyone notice that Drudge’s front page showed two lefties, or do they just talk with the left hand?
In a St. Louis suburb, a white kid gets the snot beat out of him by a bunch of black students on a school bus while other black kids laugh and cheer on the beating. Within a day or two the authorities have determined that the attack was not racially motivated:
Now, I have no way of knowing whether it was or wasn’t racially motivated and so, given the lack of specific evidence of racial intent, I’m inclined to assume “the best” of these youths and accept that they are just overprotective of their seating preferences. I think they acted poorly, but boys will be boys. Perhaps they can learn from this unfortunate situation and do better next time.
Likewise, Kanye West grabs a microphone out of the hand of some little white country starlette who was about to make an acceptance speech at an awards show and we learn that his behavior was boorish, rude and inexcusible. Race had nothing to do with it. Without specific indications on his part, that’s the way it should be.
I just wish the same standard were applied to the Tea Baggers. Yes, there were apparently some idiots whose opposition to Obama takes on a racial tone, but it seems like that is the exception rather than the rule. And yet, the only thing the media wants to address in regards to opposition to Obama AND CONGRESS is race.
Somehow, there’s some sort of innate ability to test for racism in the hearts of people that I don’t possess. Somehow people know that school bus riders, Kanye West, Van Jones and that tennis player who wanted to shove balls down the throat of a line official are NOT racist, but people protesting runaway government largess are clearly racist. I don’t get it.
This article is right. It truly is time that America says “Sorry sir, your race card has been declined.”
Make it a rule to walk away from the card table at the first appearance of the Race Card.

Excellent article, very creative. The line is brilliant and will come in handy. Not only should the race card be cancelled it should now be cut up and disposed of. No more of the racism charge free ride. That’s over with.
