Obama said Wednesday there will be no quick decision on whether to send more U.S. troops into the widening war in Afghanistan, saying "my determination is to get this right."...

The U.S. and NATO commander in Afghanistan, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, also has delivered a grim assessment of the war and is expected to follow up soon with a request for thousands of additional troops.

Agreed - he’s waffling for political reasons while our young men lay their lives on the line:

Asked if U.S. and NATO forces were winning the war in Afghanistan, Obama did not answer directly.

But he said it is clear that “we have lacked as clear of a strategy and a mission as is necessary in order to meet our overriding objectives.”

If he really wants to get it right he needs to fix the ROE (rules of engagement) he's imposed on our soldiers there:

Report: Rules of engagement led to soldiers’ deaths

Yeah. However, he decided to spend the country into perdition in no time. Yet, he hasn’t chosen a church to attend yet.

One or two things going on here with regard to Afghanistan: 1) No clue; 2) Paralysis by analysis.

Forget Afghanistan is Obama's Viet Nam..

Obama is U.S. forces' LBJ

Won't risk losing support for domestic agenda by helping military.

Oval Office interfering with day-to-day combat missions, too?

“Won’t risk losing support for domestic agenda by helping military. “

“If he really wants to get it right he needs to fix the ROE (rules of engagement) he’s imposed on our soldiers there”

Then screw it...he should just bring the troops home!! Either way, he’s going to make it impossible for our troops to succeed!
