Recent videos posted online and aired repeatedly on Fox News Channel that seem to show ACORN workers allegedly advising two 20-somethings dressed up as a pimp and prostitute on how to skirt the law, the community group has taken some major hits as of late.
On Friday the Census Bureau severed its relationship with the group for the 2010 census. On Monday the Senate overwhelmingly voted to deny Housing and Urban Development funds to the group. And congressional Republicans in general have been asking the federal government to terminate relationships with the group and investigate various allegations of malfeasance.
ACORN officials have fired some of the employees in question, while also suggesting the videotapes are not precisely what they seem. The most recent video -- from a San Bernardino ACORN office -- depicts an ACORN employee claiming to have murdered her husband.

"Then there's the man who bills himself as "the Senates most outspoken critic of ACORN," Sen. David Vitter, R-Louisiana.
Vitter has introduced a bill that would deny any federal funds to the group, which bills itself as the nation's largest grassroots organization serving low-income and middle-income Americans....
Vitter, as you may recall, was named by a New Orleans bordello Madame as a client of her prostitutes. In July 2007, Vitter apologized after his telephone number showed up in the phone records of Deborah Jeane Palfrey, the alleged DC Madame."
To date, the only mention of this story from ABC News has come from posting on Tapper's obscure blog - nothing on Good Morning America nor on World News.
Nothing, yet. Not holding my breath but I don’t think this one is over yet, by a long shot.
Oh, that's easy. Chuck Gibson has heard anything about the ACON scandal yet. I'm sure he'll hear about it shortly.
They send one of ours to the hospital we send one of their’s to the morgue!

That’s how it needs to be done!
So that’s their hangup, it doesn’t implicate any Republicans directly, they have to figure out a way to link it to Republicans before it’s news.
Is that a picture of Clinton in Harlem?
I knew this was only a matter of time.....nothing is beneath them, even when it comes to child sex slavery.
Pathetic also for Vitter to show up as a hooker's client.
I think it’s a mispronunciation.
What he actually said was, “We’re Not in the Business of NEWS’.
Based on ABC’s performance, doesn’t that make much more sense?
Why is association with prostitutes only an issue when a Republican does it?
The demoncrats want to hush up the fact that the Watergate Burlars discovered evidence the demoncrats were providing hookers to their contributors. They will never discuss or acknowledge that little inconvenient fact.
“Pathetic for Tapper to wring that obscure connection to tag some Republican in ‘scandal.’”
Speculative blurb from next week’s blogging:
“Obama’s push for healthcare reform continues to be blocked by the Republican Party, whose first president, Abraham Lincoln, advocated sending negroes ‘back to Africa’.”
