Commanders are human too, even though you may disagree. They all make mistakes and in rare instances deliberately abuse their power. Procedures and methods are in place for military leaders via troop leading procedures, regulations and the UCMJ to uncover the truth and take measures to correct problems that have been found. I'll assume for now that those steps are being taken. I have no reason to believe that they aren't.

I'm not going to take a news media report at face value and damn commanders in the field for something they may or may not have done, deliberately or not. That's knee jerking and solves nothing.

You obviously have a lot more knowledge of commanders and the UCMJ. When I think of UCMJ, I think of Haditha.

Question: where in my previous posts am I suggesting to damn the commanders on an unfounded proposition?

I do believe that orders (ie ROE) that prevent self defense on the part of the soldiers are immoral and against natural law.
