To the mixed emotions of students, President Barack Obama is coming to Texas A&M University on Oct. 16 to speak about community service at the George Bush Presidential Library as part of his "United We Service,"

“United We Service”? Sounds like a group of prostitutes!
“Obama is being hosted by former President George H.W. Bush and the Points of Light institute.”
I guess in the mind of a feeble minded old President socialism/communism are Points of Light. Shame on Bush.
Gig 'em Ags!
“United We Service? Sounds like a group of prostitutes!”
LOL! Obama will rise in the polls when he gives free ho’s to all the guys in the country.....
“United We Service” also sounds like United We-Wee’d Up!
A Bush is a Bush is a Bush. I doubt they know or care about the difference in communism/socialism/progressivism/liberalism/democrats and the Constitutional basis of this country.
Does this fool do anything but campaign?
Can he be fired for missing too much work?
Right now, he’s got Joe Freakin’ Biden in Iraq when he himself should be there.
Boy o boy did I almost make a statement that would be considered racist. Obamma should come out to Kyle Field during half time when our Aggies play the fellas from U.T.( hey, I’ve got kids at both, so I’m allowed)
United We Service?

“United we Service” sounds like a new motto for ACORN
This is a real problem with the Obama’s lack of experience. He has spent his short post acedemic experience submerged in the dysfunctional welfare state of Chicago's south side. His has not seen highly functional parts of this country where Christian people actually volunteer their time and treasure to give back to the communities in which they live. This is why he is so out of touch. I agree that this message is one that needs to be given to dysfunctional inner cities, but College Station, Texas is NOT one of those areas.
I picture the Corps blocking his entrance with swords. I can dream, can’t I?
Seriously, people!
I opposed 0 vehemently during his campaign. I oppose him with even greater fervor now.
I love Texas A&M. Truly love that school. Strong family ties.
That said, it is a GOOD thing for students of government to hear and meet a sitting President, no matter how wrong-headed they think he is.
These aren’t little school kids being indoctrinated. These are young adults capable of critical thinking and ready to enter the real world.
A&M has a long tradition of military and public service. Let these kids observe some history up close.
Whooop!
I’m thinking GHW is setting up an ambush. Does this putz and his people have any idea what they are doing?
This should be interesting, I hope. Where will AF1 land? Can they put it down at Easterwood? The main runway there is 7,000 x 150. If it does I think it should be a long trip to the library. They will probably figure that one out and land somewhere else and helo in all at taxpayer expense.
Obozo in Aggieland is an insult. The “favor” needs to be returned. The 9/11 memorial at Kyle Field was orgainzed in about a week, this should be better.
...And he wants to lecture America about generosity.
Anybody who knows anything about A&M knows that A&M students wrote the book on generosity (compared to other big schools).
*(from his tax returns...the last two years before the 2008 election, they decided to "clean it up" for the big leagues and gave 6%, almost equal to what Palins had been giving for years on a much smaller income).
OK, it's a “good thing” to hear the president.
Or - Isn't that really, “Is it a good thing to hear the president lie?”
HE IS LYING. He lies every day, every other sentence, and every other idea.
Will the students be “allowed” to actually say something WHEN he lies? When he lies, will they be allowed to stand up and denounce his lies?
I’ll have to drive down and see this. He is going into the lion’s den down there. I graduated from TAMU in 87. It has to be the most conservative public university in the country.
