I don’t watch this show because it is an extention of the SRM, personified in Letterman: it simply has very little value to me. I can’t imagine why Obama would think this would be effective in getting his message out when the show’s obvious liberal bias has already alienated most “mainstream” kinds of people.

I think Obama needs to get a clue that he’s everyone’s president and until he respects what and who we are as country he’s not going to get anywhere without an amazing struggle. It’s one thing to win the vote of indies, but it’s an entirely different thing to keep that support, and once your credibility is shot it’s difficult to recover from that. Appearing on Letterman with the very same authoritarian message that has people mistrusting and questioning the entire system isn’t going to get him there.

Understatement of the year. 0bama could be tied to the railroad tracks, he could hear the locomotive in the distance chugging "clue-clue-clue-clue-CLUE-clue-clue-clue", he could look up at the oncoming behemoth emblazoned with bright screaming signs in rainbow colors with the words "GET A CLUE EXPRESS", he could feel the wheels crushing the life out of him, and his dying words would be "WTF was that?"
