As a recruiter and career counselor, I knew full well what a community organizer was before most people had ever heard the term and was shocked that one was elected to high office. We'd have been better off picking someone at random from the Des Moines phonebook.

A community organizer, as I understand it, gets people to engage in activism. I haven’t figured out how you’d get paid. Maybe the ones who do somehow get the government to pay them with money stolen from the people who earned it.
