WASHINGTON -- Federal and local authorities are considering pulling back on funding Acorn, a leading community organizing group, after videos showed employees at a number of Acorn offices allegedly advising a filmmaker how to evade taxes in operating a brothel.
New York City is "treating this very seriously," a spokesman for Mayor Michael Bloomberg said, adding that the city will await an investigation by the Brooklyn district attorney before deciding whether to curtail funding the city channels to Acorn. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or Acorn, is the landlord for some of the city's affordable housing units. One of the hidden-camera videos was shot at an Acorn office in Brooklyn.

is the house going to vote to stop funding to acorn? how do we get an audit of acorn and subsidiaries
In the USA, once paper trash (ie documents, etc) is laid outside of an office in most states for refuse take-away, is it then public property at that point?
I suggest some Freepers who dont mind getting a little dirty, see if any documents or what not are being thrown out in the alleyways behind ACORN offices around the country. I know those be dangerous neighborhoods at night, so take a few people and be prepared to explain to the police what you are doing poking around. Might be some gems and nuggest gained; I suspect most of these people are dumb as hammers and will just throw incriminating information out without shredding or burning.

A simple check of how many taxes these slumlords have not paid
would likely be enough to make them cry racism some more.
Just imagine how many billions of our tax dollars were channeld by ACORN and HUD into buying imaginary houses.

Odds would give a white person(s) on that mission about 5 minutes of remaining life and limb - and an armed one about
