I love Sarah Palin, too. But in an objective sense, she was a bad pick for McCain’s running mate. She was a relative unknown, immediately overshadowed McCain and proved to be a distraction. So, in that way, I agree with W’s reported assessment.
the author is telling fibs apparently. Bush knew who Palin was at least one month before she was picked because he went up to Alaska and met Palin in person
