WASHINGTON – The House has voted to admonish Rep. Joe Wilson over his "You lie" outburst to President Barack Obama during the president's health care speech to Congress last week.

The 240-179 vote on the resolution of disapproval reflected the sharp partisan divide over the issue. Democrats insisted that the South Carolina Republican take responsibility for what they said was a serious breach of decorum. Republicans characterized the vote as a political stunt.

Have you taken a look at the vote? This was strictly party lines. Most of all, I consider myself a American Conservative.

I can tell you never lived in Cleveland.

When Dennis the Menace was mayor of Cleveland, they used to say, "What is the difference between Cleveland and the Titanic?"

Answer: The Titanic had better restaurants.

Cao is in the district that used to belong to William “Cold Cash” Jefferson so he is definitely a big improvement. He probably figured he would anger too many of the black voters if he didn’t vote against Wilson, although that would have been the honorable thing to do. I think he may see a drop-off in contributions from outside his district (he sends solicitations nationally to people on Republican Party mailing lists).

Arcuri and Maffei are from our districts. Glad they voted no.

You accurately surmised “The whole thing is rigged.”

The depth of social, economic and political corruption that is coming to light in all our institutions is breath taking.

I don’t know if you pray, but I am praying enough for twenty of us. I really pray that God will have mercy on us and bring forward some brilliant, clever and good men like the founders and save us from our evil (democrats) and stupid (republicans) nature.

It is really saddening to see Jeff Flake among the Shameful Seven.
Still, his career must be ended along with his 6 cohorts.

These 7 must be defeated in the priaries.
That is the time for Republicans to clean house.

If I’m not mistaken didn’t the code pink pukes disrupt W speech a few times??

This is the way Dems operate......never do the dirty work themselves. They send in the nutjobs .....then act surprised.

Now how did the code pink person get in? They were "invited". I can't remember by whom.... So many controversies... I'm losing count......

Also look to the Insurance companies. Why is it that we can’t go across state lines to search and buy insurance? It’s not all 50 states that forced this, it’s the insurance companies.
