It's probably a good idea to pace them...
The Democrats aren't interested in the reasons for the firings, they are only interested in gaining access to protected communications between the Attorney General's office, Cheney and Rove. They want to prove that Rove instigated the firings as part of a political vendetta. They wouldn't even allow any testimony on the real reason for the firings, just on who instigated it.
One of the federal prosecutors, who refused to prosecute ACORN, was here in WA state. ACORN handed the governorship to Christine Gregoire on the third recount. The prosecutor claimed that he did not have evidence of a conspiracy because he had no tapes or any evidence that the cheating was planned.
I get it. Thanks for the explanation, I must have missed that before.
See, that’s what I said, party over principle. You ARE the reason we have Obambi. Not the ones who couldn’t find a clothespin strong enough to shut out the stench of voting for McLame. You, who tried to foist off ANOTHER statist RINO on us, just because he could “win.” Sorry, you lost that one... for ALL of us.
You’ve got it all wrong. “Nuke the country now to save it later” is not a winning strategy.
Support your candidate in the primary, argue the issues passionately, and don’t make it personal. Then support the candidate that the GOP fields. Otherwise, you will be responsible for electing the democrat.
Again.
Though not a republican, I did support my candidate in the primary to the point of re-registering to be able to vote for him. Then the day after, I RE-re-registered back to independent. I wasn’t goping to vote for McLame and didn’t, but I DID vote for Sarah. She was the ONLY& reason I didn’t write in my candidate’s name or just leave it blank.
But in many ways, I am just as happy McLame did NOT win. Think, if it were HE doing all this wicked stuff, we’d have to hear YOU cheering him on. Just for Party Unity, you understand.
Again, you are mistaken—McCain was my LAST choice for the nomination. However, as the nominee, I would have voted for him regardless of his running mate choice because ANY republican is better than ANY democrat. That is an ultimately conservative strategy. Don’t facilitate putting democrats in office.
So you’d vote for a McLame just because he’s a RINO instead of a Zell Miller, for example, who’s a CONSERVATIVE but not a Pubbie? No WONDER our republic’s in the shape it’s in.
Zell Miller would never win a democrat nomination with the party in the state it’s in, hence my statement. However, in the 1 in ten billion chance he did, I would seriously consider voting for Zell. Don’t forget, though, that he wasn’t always a friend to conservatives in the Senate. Some of his conservatism was found after he left office.
