I always hear them saying it is a 3 day rolling average. Well the numbers are going to start dropping. The last several days, many folks were not at home, they were in DC. Phone surveys went unanswered. The MSM also did their best to hide the rally or at best, minimize it. Folks are home now, sharing photos, stories, videos, and more with their neighbors. I read several pieces where average americans didn’t even know that there was a rally in DC this weekend! The pics don’t lie, and neighbors talk. I am waiting til this weekend to see the impact of the rally on the polls....

More important, support for the 0dumboCare plan dropped back 6 points to 45%. I’m feeling a bit better about the Nation today.

Statistical noise. The key is the trend. Team Barry's been trending negative for several months now. Wait until Cap&Trade, Card Check and God knows come up. 2 million people marching on the capital has to get someone's attention. I'd still love to see a coup in the House. The GOP and Blue Dogs join up to throw Nazti P. out.

Has anyone else noticed that we believe the polls when we like them and are skeptical when we don’t. When Rasmussen had him in double-digit negatives we were celebrating. Now we’re sure they are rigged.

Welcome to the world of polling!

99% emotion, 1% BS.

MOE +-3%

Ya know, the recent polls only reflect the fact that most of the anti- Obambis were in DC this weekend - only reason for the “bounce”...

Bingo! Also, good news about McDonnell getting the NRA’s endorsement. I noticed Deeds’ liberal friends in the MSM are saying the loss of the endorsement could be a “blessing in disguise” because the vast majority of NOVA voters do not support the NRA. Hogwash! If Deeds had won the endorsement the Wash Po et. al. would be crowing that Deeds is a true centrist dem in the tradition of Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, that he supports the 2nd Amendment yet he supports liberal (sorry, ‘progressive”) causes as well. Nauseating.

Now we’re sure they are rigged.

You got a mouse in your pocket? Who's this "we" you speak of. 99% of the people here know Rass is legit. Numbers rise, numbers fall, wheels go round and round. Anybody who's been following politics for more than a month knows this.

Speak for yourself. Don't speak for Free Republic.

Even though Rasmussen is the best... NEVER before in the history of polling has the question been put as to “SOMEWHAT APPROVE”. Ask do you or do you not approve... watch his numbers fall.

All albie said was "it is hard to believe it is this high." That doesn't mean it isn't. If we are going to check the temperature of the nation we have to go with the most accurate pollster on these kind of things and that is Rasmussen as of 2008.

Obama's speech was lame but the DIMS are trying to fire back and that is where some of these numbers may be coming from. The trend for Obama though is down, down, down.

Its the old razzle and dazzle, do a speech, polls go up, when the effect wears off, down goes dumbo.

A drop of 6% in one day for health care would kind of mean to me, too many dems oversampled.

That’s normal, everybody does that. You should go to DU once in a while, they do that all the time. When it’s going their way, they are elated, happy, patting each other on the back, BUT, when things are bleak they go wild, curse, spit, and the “F” word is in abundance. It’s par for the course.

I do not give a lot of attention to tracking polls but what this DC march has to do with polls in terms of phone not being answered. There are 300 millions people in the country and I do not think that a pollster will have a problem finding 800 people to answer the phone even if 10 million people where in the DC march.

Now the DC march will hopefully have political effect on the people opinions and more of our citizens will be against socialism and socialized medicine.

Off topic, but just watching the Italian news from last night I see Ms. Pelosi on a visit in Abruzzo where the earthquake struck...she is seen cutting a ribbon with Fini, who she lectured on immigration telling him not to be afraid. Ha!

-10 in a week, odumbo just cannot help himself

Five Sunday show appearances sked this coming weekend (not appearing on FNS) to pump healthcare reform. Dana Perino described this as "flooding the zone". What will this big play attempt do to the numbers?
