Following President Obamas speech to Congress last week, support for his health care reform plan increased steadily to a peak of 51% yesterday. However, the bounce appears to be over. The latest daily tracking shows that support has fallen all the way back to pre-speech levels.

Does this mean he’ll feel compelled to give another speech?

To paraphrase Van Jones, Obama’s like crack. His followers need more frequent and higher doses of him to maintain their high.

Now this just can’t be!! Why just this morning my radio news blurb told me that more than 50% of the country wants Obama’s healthcare plan according to polls and that over 50% of the DOCTORS in America want a PUBLIC OPTION because they LOVE Medicare and Medicaid.
Uh yep, that’s what they said.

Here's what slays me. People can honestly be swayed to surrender their freedom by smply watching someone give a speech? And then two days later they decide otherwise again?? Are people really and truly that easily mallable? Is there any wonder why America is collapsing under the sheer weight of the weak-minded? Those who decide who to vote for by whatever candidate talked pretty to them last?? Is that not insane?!

ALL the usurper does is give speeches, and fly to speeches/fundraisers.

This bump is coming to an end but the next bump (and I'm sure several more) have already been scheduled by The One's handlers - Rahm and Axelrod. For example, the big UN splash next week should be good for a few points for a few days.
Obama is going to be in our face for a long time. But he is wearing out the Obama Brand (Brand-O) with the Independents and he cannot hold up his poll numbers forever by giving moving speeches. He will slowly but surely find himself judged by the public based on his policies and not his rhetoric - and his policies stink.
To: Obadiah
Unfortunately yes and people are way too malleable. Take a stand people and don’t waver - I wish all voters were that way.
