I would not have my children in a school where they were so outnumbered by a hostile and violent culture. Even if they were not beat up regularly (like this), they would be constantly in fear of it happening.

My sister was re-zoned to a bad elementary school (many years go), my parents moved us before school started. We did not have the money for something like that, but my parents ALWAYS found a way.

When choosing a school for their children, my cousins would show up at a prospective school at 3 o’clock and watch the kids walk out. That told them everything they needed to know.

A principal in a heavily minority school district in Miami once told a friend of mine, in a round about way, not to send her daughter to the school. Said the girl was too attractive. My friend got the picture.
