WASHINGTON (AP) - The Senate voted Monday to block the Housing and Urban Development Department from giving grants to ACORN, a community organization under fire in several voter-registration fraud cases.

Let’s see how Pelosi reacts. She’s going to have to up her Valium.
Also, another video from Giles/O’Keefe is supposed to be released today. Annonced on Hannity last night and this one is supposed to be ‘devastating’. Should be a very good morning for America.
This has to be in response to the videos. One was an anomoly; two was disturbing; three became embarassing, even to Dem senators. These kids deserve the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting. Is there a Free Republic prize for investigative reporting? If so I vote for O’Keefe and Giles to receive the next one.
How will we know that the money isn’t just given to the same crew under a different name?
ACORN is a very powerful tool for the Marxists in DC and across the nation so I’m sure they’re frantically shuffling deck chairs around to find a way to keep the game going.
That was the most biased article I have ever read. They didn’t even mention the videos until the very end of the story.
Reuters operates with the Van Jones school of thought whereas conservatives dump toxic waste in low income neighborhoods, and eat their babies for breakfast.
Another Giles/O’Keefe video is supposed to be released sometime today. “devastating’ was used to describe this 4th video.
If it is in Philly, the timing will be perfect. The ‘one’ is supposed to be there today for a fundraiser for snarlin Arlen Specter.
Would that be a great time to ask ‘the one’ for a comment??? or something like that. Watchfully waiting for ACORN episode #4.
It’d be really neat if it came from Chicago and the ACORN folks showed Giles and O’Keefe some “skirting the law” rules written by Obama back in his organizin’ days.
I believe they are saving that one for the grand finale. I’ve heard as many as 6 of these video stings exist.
Talk about a gotcha. The media may be able to poohpooh one but they can’t downplay a number of them. A pattern f systemic corruption has been exposed...and a number of people need to go to jail. For a long time.
The Senate vote only applied to one spending bill. This, from the House, is much more inclusive. Let's see how the Dems stonewall it.
You saw this? Things are looking up...
