Opinion: So far, Obama's failing miserably (Politico)

Barack Obama’s initial approach to the office of the presidency has been as grandiose as Bush’s was restrained. It’s not hard to recall that he ran as a transformative candidate, promising sweeping, though somewhat fuzzy, “change” during the campaign.

For the first several months of his presidency, Obama has labored to deliver on that pledge. He pushed a controversial stimulus bill through Congress to help rev up the economy, turned Bush’s reluctant bailout of Chrysler and General Motors into a giant government auto buyout and appointed a record number of “czars” to help regulate bureaucracies in both public and formerly private sectors.

Then, Step 2. Obama is trying to fundamentally alter the American economy by backing sweeping environmental, labor and health care legislation. He wants to change the way Americans consume energy, unionize and see their doctors.

So far, he’s failing miserably. Consider the following:

Obama has a great future ahead as a news reader on a ‘progressive’ TV station. He’s soooo articulate when he reads. He can’t be a pundit ‘cuz he can’t speak extemporaneously.

He IS, fundamentally, a poor chief executive of the world’s most powerful republic.

Politico is right, as far as they go. But they don’t go far enough to explore WHY he is failing.

I’m suprised Politico would come out with something like this. They usually tend to be Obama apologists.

Oh, but they do.

You know the scene in Empire Strikes Back, when Yoda lifts the X-wing fighter onto dry land? Luke says, "I don't believe it!" and Yoda shakes his head and says "THAT is why you fail"?

A plan to restore the Republic really does have to take into account the fact that everyone can't be allowed to vote.

“...53% approve... I do not believe it.”

It is slowly dawning on the msm that the great majority of Americans do not believe a word they are saying. Patriots don’t care that the msm brands them as “racists” for refusing to knuckle under to the Chicago thugs who infest our current government. They know they are right in standing together to fight for their country, and they will not be intimidated by the sleezy politicians and their media mouthpieces.

Gots to keep putting pressure on this Chicago mob or they’ll keep robbing yours and your children’s earnings.

Fact: Obama is a miserable failure

If Barry was a Used Car Salesman he'd starve to death.

He’s “failing” because he can’t pass Cap and Trade, Union Card Check, and Socialized Healthcare

The only way the media can criticise Obama is when they slam Bush too. “I know I am but so are you.” They are children.

“Obama will lose on all three big issues. He’ll probably take that personally.”

Some predictions:

1) His presidency will end Helen Thomas UGLY.
2) He and his hardcore followers will play the race card for his setbacks.
3) Many blacks(not all) will blame his failures on ‘whitey’
4) Obama will setback race relations 50 years
5) The democrat party will fracture.
6) Hilary will make a run at the democrat 2102 nomination
7) A certain candidate for president will promise more jobs in 2012 through energy creation and will win.
8) The republicans only make small gains in 2010.
9) Economy is still struggling in 2012 and the main issue is JOBS,JOBS,JOBS.

JMO...

I hate to rain on anyone's parade celebration for obama's perceived failures, but stop and think a bit. He hasn't even been in office a year yet and has more than three years minimum to go and until 2010 until we have a chance to change congress.

There's a lot of work to do to keep obama, Reid and Pelosi from changing our Republic into their personal statist regime and we can't depend on obama's lack of experience to make it easy for us.

Believe the polls. Recently, O has benefited from some (temporarily) good news, rising stock market, supposedly "slowing" job losses, plus he went on vacation. As he gets back to making speeches, his approval will get back down under 50%.

I think that all the smokescreen comments by Snowe and Nelson and others have made a lot of people think that "health care is dead." We know better. But if those things that people HATE which they associate with Zero are perceived to be diminishing, his ratings improve.

That's why I think it is critical for EVERY REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE AT EVERY LEVEL TO CONSTANTLY REFER TO "OBAMA, PELOSI,_____ (your local candidate goes here) IN EVERY SPEECH.
