An adopted teen who has lived in Port St. Joe, Fla. since she was 3 faces possible deportation to England for refusing a vaccination, she and her mother say.
Simone Davis, 17, said she has no need for the vaccine Gardasil, which guards against the sexually transmitted human papillomavirus virus, because she is not sexually active, ABC News reported.
But the U.S. government requires female immigrants between the ages of 11 and 26 to receive Gardasil shots before they can become citizens.
Simone was abandoned as a baby in England and adopted at 3 by her paternal grandmother, Jean Davis, who married an American and moved to Port St. Joe, Fla.
Jean Davis started applying for citizenship for Simone nearly 10 years ago, ABC said.
As a devout Christian who has taken a virginity pledge, Simone argues she is in no danger of getting cervical cancer and sees no reason to get the vaccine. American-born girls are encouraged, but not required, to get the vaccine.
Simone and Jean Davis sought a waiver on moral and religious grounds, but were turned down. They have 30 days to appeal the ruling. Without citizenship, Simone can be sent back to England, ABC said.
"I kind of feel like they may be experimenting with immigrants to see how we will react and then give the vaccine to citizens," Simone said. "If it is such a great vaccine, why isn't it mandatory for everyone?"

The law is corrupt, as are those in Con-gress who pass the laws. It is a Patriots's duty to change those corrupted laws.
I wouldn’t let MY daughter get that vaccine either. There can be serious side effects, and for God’s sake! If a kid isn’t sexually active, then why??? I hadn’t thought about it being a pay-off for the pharmaceutical company, but that sure makes sense.

Where dyou see that? All Green Cards have certain conditions attached to them. Prime among them is that you commit no crime. She seems to me to have committed no crime.
And y’know what, I think most people on this board, myself included, have no problem with Mexicans who come here legally.
But I do have a problem with Mexicans, and anyone else, who comes over illegally!

I know this girl is not a citizen, but this is a great example of government out of control.
And yet they allow illegals carrying TB and God knows what else, to roam the land unhindered.

The law requiring this controversial mandatory vaccine went into effect July 1, 2008. The young woman's efforts to become a U.S. citizen began long before the vaccine was developed, much less mandatory.
Let's see your response to this: If the U.S. passed a law tomorrow requiring that all male immigrants applying for citizenship be castrated, would you agree this is the proper thing to do?

Technically, they aren’t citizens - natural born or otherwise.

I find it interesting that you don’t see the very selective and politically-correct basis used in the enforcement of immigration law. Muslim foreign “student” violating the terms of your stay? Nothing is done - STILL. Repeat criminal offender from a supposed “victim” nation? Nothing is done. Criminal immigration law-breaker, tax cheat, and identity thief? You can stay!
Legal resident from England appealing a regulation derived from the 1996 law? DEPORT! Don’t YOU see the rampant hypocrisy and criminal favoritism in such enforcement decisions?

It doesn’t name Gardisil. The USCIS added it recently.

This is one of the unknown consequences of new laws. I won't say 'unintended' because I don't think our lawmakers deserve that benefit of the doubt. Health Care Reform will give us a thousand pages of new laws and regulations that can be expanded by bureaucrats in the same unforeseen way. How long before every female citizen is required to get this Gardisil vaccination?

What other vaccinations, drug regimens and procedures will be required? A Gardisil vaccination sets the bar pretty low considering how limited its transmission is and how relatively minor the affects of HPV are. If a case of genital warts can be deemed a public safety issue I can't see much of anything that couldn't be.
I don't want the government deciding all of my medical care decisions for me and mandating them with the same point-of-the-gun force the IRS relies on.

There sure is. I'm afraid that's why the public in general has been slow to respond to it. The MSM is deeply involved in the corruption. They so need to be exposed and discredited.
