It took me until post 24 to find the thread...
Nevertheless, I hope that those in the republican party that maintain conservative values (such as Jim DeMint, Sarah Palin, and a few others) do some serious housecleaning. The party became democrat-lite several years ago and the cumulative result was loss of the house, Senate, and finally, the Presidency.
The issue at stake here is that it's our America. The path to restoring the republic doesn't have to involve the republican party, but I don't think that a third party will be effective in any major election at this juncture.
A lot of talk about the "tea party movement lacking leadership"--
We are leading--and batting away the John Mccains and the Lindsey Lightloafers.
We endorse Joe Wilson--Republican "leadership", are you getting this?
