“I have no obligation or responsibility to vote for a particular party.”

You are responsible to all of us, to the general welfare, to make a good decision. You do have a duty.

“I’m not legally, morally, or Constitutionally required to make any choice at all. “

You are indeed morally obligated to make a choice. Your choice or non-choice could affect the welfare of millions. There are duties that exist outside of law.

“Don’t you get tired of it?”

No. It is also our duty to endure. That is also a quality of conservatives. We should be hard to kill or discourage.

“Spending increased, both in raw numbers and as a percentage, during Bush’s term. “

This was the result of necessary military expenditures.

“Until then, keep the overly simplistic bleatings for the sheep, and enjoy several more cycles like the last two.”

I, simplistic ?

We will not HAVE cycles like the last two. If the Democrats keep the house in 2010 they will be unstoppable. They are restrained now merely out of fear that the public will vote in Republicans.

The barbarians are at the gates, all men are needed at the walls. Now is when you are wanted.

I've heard that tired line every 2 years since 1980. Nice try, though.

The GOP may want me to fight in the trenches for them, but until they show they're going to fight as well, there's no point. I'll support individual candidates who demonstrate that they're for limited government, regardless of party affiliation. Period.
