A few more years of Fascist Democrat rule and the People will be ready to burn DC to the ground, salt the swamp it sits on, and move the seat of power to Kansas! Why risk losing that kind of righteous fury by electing some elitist RINO for a couple years?

The essence of conservatism is to realize that ALL politics is a matter of “holding my nose” FOREVER.
Conservatism is a DEMANDING ideology. It is based on the fundamental fact - and acceptance of the fact - of human imperfection and fallibility. That is easy to say, but consider that the implications of that are grim.
Conservatives must therefore carry on IN SPITE OF the acknowledged certainty of disappointment, in spite of hopelessness, in spite of demoralization. We cannot tell ourselves fairy tales about the future, we cannot legitimately get lost in rhetoric, we cannot, truly, even dare to hope. But still we need to carry on.
THAT is Conservatism.

I am 100% in agreement with you on that. I have sent my last dollar to a liberal, Value-less Republican Party. My money will go to actual conservative groups. If conservatives are not on the ticket, I’m staying home.
Re-grouping in Kansas sounds fine to me. If the ‘Rats get elected again, the Republic is finished in 2010. If compromising, Country Club Republicans get elected in 2010, the Republic is finished in only a couple more years. Why wait until we are weaker?
Rush will not give us anybody. He is not in the business of picking candidates.
