Why does anyone in Congress have anything to do with this? Isn't this a law enforcement thing?

I can’t wait for these guys to get their day in federal court and get off with hand slaps and a brief stint in some country club federal prison.
Were these misunderstood folks working for ACORN? Did they tell the officers they had a miserable childhood?
I wonder what, specifically, was imminent?

So far, from what I've gathered:
An Afghani from the mid-west, with links to Al Qaeda visited several homes in Queens this weekend. This person has been under surveillance for sometime. When he left, they raided the homes, questioned people, and took the cell phones. At this point, I do not know of any arrests, no word on what was removed from home, or how many involved.
