Fire Destroys Bronx Mosque

SNIPPET: “The flames broke out around 11 p.m. in the mosque on East 166th Street in Morrisania and then spread. It took several hours to get it under control.
Three firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
“The whole place was gone. The fire started inside the store and it was burning for like two hours and then everything started blowing, exploding,” said local resident Lenroy Carr.
The cause is still under investigation.”

The leader of the burnt Bronx mosque is on the NYPD radar: Sheikh Moussa Drammeh...signers of letter CAIR, MPAC, etc.

However, neither these “outside experts” have been working with the undersigned groups who represent a significant proportion of New York Muslims, and, to the best of our knowledge, nor were they in attendance at our meetings at Police Plaza. It is further unclear what qualifications or expertise these two individuals bring to the discussion on radicalization and de-radicalization. While there may be difficultly in coordinating with the larger Muslim community, the NYPD must consciously solicit representative views and consider a broad spectrum of the Muslim community and expertise in the course of dialogues.”
