Meanwhile, we’re breathlessly awaiting Obama’s ‘economy’ speech, where he’ll be telling us how WONDERFUL everything is, and how therefore we need more Government to make it even better!!

Did Indiana go blue?

They sure did, by a margin of 30,000 votes...fewer than the number being laid off by Eli Lilly.

Didn’t they do that in November 2008 when they went for Barry 0 and the Gang?

Looks like patent protection is running out on the top 4 selling lines. They don’t have anything in the pipeline to take up the slack? Maybe they cut R&D to boost short-term profits....

Yes, it did. I have friends in Muncie, Indiana (all voted McCain/Palin in ‘08) and they know how close it was. I seriously believe the election was rigged out of Gary. The number of counties overwhelmingly went McCain/Palin and a 30,000-vote-margin is really close.

And, since Gary is in the Central Time Zone, they had an extra hour to see how the votes in Indiana were coming in and then alter their votes to win the state for Obama.

Indiana is very hard-pressed for jobs and I hope they see how Obama isn’t going to bring the jobs they need.

I am sure everybody in Indiana has heard about Obama's supposed deal with pharmaceutical manufacturers to CUT their income by tens of billions of dollars ~ no doubt that's not good for Lilly, Lilly stock, and the Lilly trust that holds billions in Lilly stock and which provides grants to deserving projects throughout Indiana!

BTW, that was a 5,000 job cut, not a 35,000 job cut ~ the 35,000 is the number of jobs left AFTER the cut.

The UAW in Indiana saw most of their plants closed to save the Detroit operations ~ and with UAW members ordinarily splitting their votes in Indiana elections, I'd suggest the Democrats probably won't win their next 6 or 7 elections there.

This is all Obama's fault. He has single handedly destroyed the Democrat party in Indiana.

Let me add, Lake County Indiana (SEE: Gary) always rigs the vote ~ never been any exceptions.

I seriously believe the election was rigged out of Gary.

Most likely ACORN territory.

in case no one else has pointed it out, 40,500 - 35,000 = 5,500, not > 30,000.

Thanks for the correction...I read it as "cut BY 35,000"...my mistake!

What’s wrong with them? Didn’t they here that the economy has stabilized, that everything’s alright now?
