Obama 'clones' Bush in killing sovereignty

NEW YORK – President Obama is continuing President George W. Bush's effort to advance North American integration with a public-relations makeover calculated to place the program under the radar of public opinion and to deflect concerns about border security and national sovereignty.

The Obama administration has "rebranded" and "refocused" the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP, to advance the Bush administration's agenda of North American integration under the rubric of the "North American Leaders Summit," a less controversial banner, according to confidential sources in the U.S. Department of Commerce and State Department who agreed to speak with WND only if their comments were kept off the record.

Is this the previously reported “makeover,” or the previously re-reported makeover? I was wondering why Prof. Corsi let the Summit pass without a peep. He must’ve been on vacation, or something.

Taco’s and Moosehead sounds pretty good, although there are other Canadian brands I’ll drink first.

There’s a thread or two about the tire tariff, but most of it was cheerleading . . . “let the trade war begin,” and all that. Oh, and a few folks reminiscing about the boom years of the 1930’s and how Smoot-Hawley saved us all.

"...the boom years of the 1930’s and how Smoot-Hawley saved us all."

At first this made me laugh but then I started remembering all the threads about how the Great Meltdown is so much worse than the '30's    --which probably explains why doom'n'gloomers really love import taxes.

"...they campaigned for Ron Paul..."

"I didn’t"

Ah, please forgive my letting slip any suggestion you did.   It's a weird world though, how self-professed conservatives can watch Ron Paul suck up to Barney Frank and then be happy with import tax hikes.
