Al-Qaeda Blames 9/11 on American Support for Israel

...according to an audio message purported to be from Osama bin Laden, the leader of the international Al-Qaeda terrorist organization. The whereabouts of Bid Laden are not known, and the video image accompanying the audio featured only a still picture of him.

The attacks were in response to the half-assed wag-the-dog missile strikes carried out by the incompetent Clinton administration.

I repeat, it was OBVIOUS that I was referring to modern Israel.

Moslems have been wreaking havoc on their neighbors ever since the “religion” was founded. None of it had the slightest thing to do with ancient Israel, even though some of it had to do with regional Jews, who Mohammad saw as a threat to his synthetic “religion”. That was true with respect to ANY competitive religion, and ALL were suppressed, crushed and marginalized. Zoroastrianism has virtually disappeared from Moslem countries, and the ancient Arabian religions have been wiped from the face of the Earth. Christianity has been harassed, suppressed and almost destroyed throughout the Middle East, a region where it long held a predominant position. Buddhists and Hindus were the subject of the most horrendous violence and cruelty as the Moslems subjugated India.

And they have not moderated their “religion” in modern times, either. I don’t need to catalogue their modern day history of outrage and atrocity.

Moreover, I don’t have any argument with you regarding the current Arab attitude toward Israel or with your sense of disgust and outrage with their anti Israel propaganda.

But, please don’t try to pick a pointless fight with me by dragging a red herring across my post. It’s rude.

No. I’m sorry, but it was NOT obvious that you were referring to modern Israel. For one thing, many people have pointed out how many centuries we can go back and find Islamic violence against other religions.

I'd like you to go back to my original post and explain to me exactly what logical chain of thought could have possibly led you to conclude that I was referring to ancient Israel. The notion is laughable, and would have negated the entire point I was making. A point, incidentally, which I would have expected, based on your apparent point of view, you to be in general agreement with.
