"I concur. 200-300K. I was there. It was awesome, but over 1 million? Not even. Inflating our estimates only makes us look desperate or deluded. " Yep! There were a couple of trolls here yesterday, through the night, spouting that "million" stuff just to set FR up for ridicule.
We (FR) already have lots of fun with the "Million" Man March that had, at best, 150K participants. No sense giving the Marxist scum out there the same kind of target.

(Where is another agitator for republicanism like Sam Adams when we need him?)

Sorry Super. I am certainly no troll. But the distance to the Capitol from that intersection is well over a mile. That's a 6 or 8 lane road and it was full and moving towards the capitol for some extended period of time.
I believe over a million people were there based on that pic (and the time lapsed video from youtube of that same scene) alone.
Whatever the numbers...it was a huge success. I am not prone to overestimating or spouting wild figures. I just believe that NBC estimate of several hundred thousands was a bit too low, and the Daily Mail's estimate of 2 million was somewhat high.
