President Barack Obama is working to reclaim the initiative from critics of his health care initiative and boost momentum to push his chief domestic priority through Congress.
Obama kept up a steady weekend drumbeat of cheerleading for his health care plan in a campaign-style rally, on the radio and Internet, and on network television. He planned to continue the pace with more events designed to seize control of the health care debate following his address to Congress last week in which he urged Democrats and Republicans to come together.
"I will not accept the status quo. Not this time. Not now," the president told an estimated 15,000 people during a packed rally Saturday in Minneapolis.

Reporting like this should be subject to criminal prosecution.
BamaKennedy is turning out to be his own worst enemy.
If Obama has been in control the last three months, I'd like to see what him not in control looks like.
Liberals have so successfully perverted the literal meanings of words that control to them does not mean what it means to reasonable rational thinking people.
These people are adherents to Alinsky's rules for radicals, and their nature is to control by dividing, destroying and conquering the hearts and minds of people. They are students of the human psyche and intuitively know where to throw sucker punches.
They have successfully controlled public education from K-12 on up through the university system since the 60's. The majority of Americans forty years old and younger with college degrees voted for BamaKennedy. The majority of Americans either agreed with or were clueless when BamaKennedy himself without that teleprompter providing him his speech told Joe the plumber he was for redistribution of wealth.
That is what control means to BamaKennedy, he is untouchable and unchallengeable and there is no opposition to him just because he is.
He has the radical state run media as cheeleaders and aiding his lying. They don’t have a clue what is in the bill.
Yes, so very true, and they do not even care what is in the bill, or if what he claims is or is not, are lies.
We need to protest the media. How about 100,000 in front of MSNBC.
The thing is that the sleeping giant is now awake. They don’t believe Obama or the press. So who is the propaganda aimed at? This truly is a case of the Emperor has no clothes.
Obama’s solution to everything: If I can’t have my way..... I’ll just give another speech. Knowing the MSM will help him brainwash the weak.
Now that sounds like a plan.
