WASHINGTON -- Thousands of demonstrators descended on Capitol Hill Saturday, protesting the expansion of government spending and illustrating the network of conservative activists that has emerged in opposition to President Barack Obama's policies.
Organizers said people from all 50 states came to D.C. for the "Taxpayer March on Washington." The largely peaceful crowd began marching near the White House and up Constitution Ave. before settling directly in front of the Capitol. During the march, protesters dressed as colonial Americans banged drums as chants of "U.S.A." echoed throughout downtown Washington.

Even Fox is only reporting "Tens of Thousands."
While the park police has not released any official numbers, I would venture to guess that there are at least "HUNDREDS" of thousands!
Seems like everyone, even the WSJ and Fox are downplaying this huge rally and protest.
obama must really feel threatened if he felt the need to stage yet another campaign rally while the tea partiers were protesting in DC. The marketer-in-chief has this bazaar need to constantly be in campaign mode. He’s thin-skinned and insecure. Is he ever behind the desk working?
I was in DC for the Second Amendment Sisters rally back on Mother’s day, 2000, and I walked over on the mall where Rosie O’Donnell’s “Million Mom March” was in front of the capitol. The “Million Moms” actually numbered between 400,000 and 500,000 by the official estimates that day. The crowd I saw on the Mall in the limited pics I saw on Fox went further down the mall than the ldquo;Million Moms” did in 2000.
I doubt the Party Propaganda Ministry will show us an overhead shot of today’s crowd.

CBS led off their Evening News at 5:30 CST with this, and estimate the crowds at DC at 10’s of thousands, and also noted one in Fort Worth that was about 10,000. They’re giving it pretty good coverage. Everyone they’re putting on TV is a pretty reasonable person.
