I can’t make it to Washington DC today for the national 9/12 march, but I’m with all the marchers in spirit.
It’s been an unprecedented year for limited government activism. It would never have been possible without the early initiative of grass-roots leaders in the #tcot community on Twitter, Smart Girl Politics #DontGo — and concerned moms like Keli Carender and Amanda Grosserode who stood up in their communities against reckless spending in Washington before anyone was listening. Before the cable news was paying attention. Before it became fashionable for politicians to latch on.
They’ll say ‘tiny’ — they are the Party of Liars. They minimize, obfuscate, confuse, mock — if ABC and CNN are saying 2 Million, that’s enough for me.
I haven’t been able to find where ABC News says 2 million. The only estimate I see at ABC News is 60,000 to 70,000.
Unless the 2M figure can be confirmed, IMO, the headline needs to be changed, or else we look like bozos.
I REALLY had wanted to go to this. I had planned for it some time ago.
But my psychotic, obamatronic boss FIRED me last month—while owing me THOUSANDS of dollars of back pay...and now, she is trying to BLOCK my unemployment..SO money is tight around here right now.

I think it's better that they stayed away--It gives the appearance of 2 million Americans much greater impact when our enemies in the press and in Congress cannot say, "The only reason these people are here is because Rush TOLD them to go."

Not sure about the others, but I am POSITIVE you haven’t heard any of the MANY times Rush has explained why he is staying out of it.
Program transcripts are available on his website...but to belabor the obvious; it’s about the American people, NOT politicians, talk-show hosts, and it SHOULD be that way.

More important, I think you forgot to add the link to the ABC News 2 million people crowd estimate.
DC police said 1.2 million
No way are these numbers accurate. There’s some sort of coordinated misinformation from one side or another. 1 of every 150 Americans was in DC for this? I hope the numbers are accurate, but without further verification I’l remain quite skeptical.
She’s wrong. ABC says that they never said that.
Can't tell, since crowd size estimation isn't one of my areas of expertise.
Furthermore, one can't judge the full extent of the crowd from the posted photo.
Do you know of any rules of thumb for crowd size estimation that can be applied?
that crowd looks about identical in size to the BO’s crowd back in January, and I recall the media was calling it a million in size.
