I wonder who the prosecutor was during Linda Tripps trial? Democrat like the states attorney in Baltimore?

Her case took place in Howard County, which is west of and not contiguous with Baltimore City; the county seat is Ellicott City. As I recall, it was a ‘Rat who was the state’s attorney in Howard County that tried to prosecute her.
