HR 3200 provides taxpayer-funded abortions (Liar, liar!)

The healthcare reform bill puts taxpayers in the position of paying for abortions.

The House version of H.R. 3200 would drastically change long-standing federal policy, according to Susan Muskett, senior legislative counsel at the National Right to Life Committee.

"It creates a nationwide insurance plan run by the federal government that is explicitly authorized to cover all abortions," she explains. "The federal government would be running a nationwide abortion plan."

Muskett says apparently there would be no abortions barred. "Abortionists would submit bills to the federal insurance plan and receive checks from the federal agency," she adds. "The federal government would be running a national program for providing abortion on demand."

Long past time to abort the federal government. Washington needs to be cleansed.

The majority of even abortion-toleraters who call themselves "pro-choice" are against taxpayer funding for abortions--- and a HUGE majority of those who call themselves "pro-life" are against taxpayer funding for abortions.

Yet not even prominent Republicans will yell bloody murder and "make an issue" out of this. I don't get it.

Of course Obama is right. Abortions are funded out of the fees paid only by those that approve of the use. And since this dollar over here is clearly different than that dollar over there— taxpayers are not paying for it....
