White House sources say Obama doesn't want to draw more attention to the incident

Don't expect President Obama to invite Rep. Joe Wilson to the White House for a few beers any time soon.
That let's-be-friends technique is what the president used to create a "teachable moment" with the two antagonists in the infamous "arrest incident" in Cambridge, Mass., a few weeks ago. But Wilson is a different story. Wilson is the Republican from South Carolina who shouted that Obama was a "liar" during the president's speech to Congress Wednesday night. After a furor erupted over the angry outburst, Wilson called White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel later that night and apologized for violating congressional decorum, saying his emotions got the better of him.

Yeah, like Obama didn’t want to linger on the possibility of charges against the Bush administration. He said that he wanted to only look forward. That was newspeak for, I’m letting others do the dirty work.

And Pelosi Galore said of Joe Wilson that he apologized and no further action would be taken. Now, however, she's calling for punishment.
It's a war, people.
He finally understands that light on Joe Wilson will bring more light on his lies.
OBama is a liar. he lied flat out to the entire country and then called his opponents liars while doing it. That’s the truth of the matter and more and more people are seeing it that way.
Or it means he things it will hurt him more than help him to linger on Joe Wilson. I’m betting that, because any focus on Joe Wilson also means a focus on whether they are going to cover illegal aliens or not.

If I were a liar and someone brought it to public attention, I wouldn’t want to linger either.
I wonder how 95% of smokers feel about Obama? Soon to add 95% of alcohol users and 95 percent of folks who consume sugar.

Exactly. The Dem’s will use Joe Wilson until they can’t anymore.
Especially since Rep. Wilson (S.C) is gathering support and campaign money.
