Censors loved him. not.
RIP Larry
“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”
“Everybody ought to have a maid.” :0)
Not 'painless'. RIP.
Part of the crew that got their start writing for Sid Caesar, and more or less dominated comedy from the 1960s through the 80s—Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Neil Simon
did he write Horse Hockey...I loved that line.
I do believe he was part of ‘your show of shows’ writers too.
Don’t forget that funny but noted pedophile Woody Allen.
Mash gave life to a couple Lefty actors I turn the channel when it comes on.
I feel the same way. The movie was extremely anti Christian and anti conservative. I have never understood the pass so many conservatives give the movie and TV series which did tone it down a lot.

Same here, one look at the Lefty cretins in the cast tells the tale.
I actually thought that Fr. Mulcahy was one of the more positive portrayals of a Catholic priest that I’ve seen.
Agreed. Also, the show was not nearly as anti-US military as it could have been, given the time period in which it was made.
One could only imagine what the Hollywood lefties would make if they were starting MASH from scratch today.
Mash was nothing but lefty drivel. No soldier in wartime would have gotten away with the anti-war remarks and insubordination that the characters in this show did. I saw a couple of episodes then never again.

This pinko-commie was so sanctimonious he should have played Father Mulcahy.”
Agreed Alda (hawkeye) is a major Pinko who makes me want to puke.
Actually I recall one storyline in which Fr. Mulcahy was the central character. The whole storyline is he felt so inadequate, everyone else was saving lives or doing something really important.
Only a radical leftist could think saving men’s souls was insignificant. he basically played the media’s idea of a “good” Christian in that nothing he did was related to salvation.
You sir are a gentleman and a procurer!
Wayne Rogers, Jamie Farr and William Christopher are big time conservatives.
