It seems that this was only glanced over - not thoroughly investigated.
A TOTAL list of Chrysler/GM dealerships and their party affiliations needs to be looked to see if the same ratio - (in this case 787 republican donors to ONE dem) holds true company wide...
Who matters most to whom, UAW or Car Dealerships.

I don’t take snopes as gospel. I think they have a pretty strong liberal bias. Could just be me.
I was in the auto dealership business, ultimately as a department manager in fixed operations (I was never involved directly in selling cars, but rather in parts and service). The only part of that ratio that looks off by a little bit would be the Obama side. I think the Obama support looks overstated, perhaps by one donor.
