Curious story. I wonder if “It’s a training exercise” is the new version of “It’s not terrorism.” Dear Hubby is retired USCG, and an “exercise” like this, on this day, in populated area—just seems out of character. But some years have passed since retirement, so maybe it’s a different USCG today.
And the news reports are all over the map on this story...some say “exercise,” some say “suspicious recreational craft”...
