Obama sets stage for using budget maneuver to pass health reform

President Barack Obama this week has been laying the foundation for Senate Democrats to use a controversial budget maneuver to pass healthcare reform.

By offering Republicans olive branches during his address to Congress on Wednesday, Obama has set up a win-win situation. If GOP lawmakers embrace compromise, a healthcare bill would pass Congress easily. But the more likely scenario is that Republicans will continue to oppose Obama’s plan, and the president later this fall will be able to note he tried to strike a deal with the GOP but could not.

Problem for Obama is , voters side with GOP on this one. They want this legislation stopped. The worst thing the GOP can do is vote for this turd. But we do have Juan McCain And Ms. Lindsay Graham in the GOP camp , they will save Obama's day.

The Dems will pass SOMETHING. No one knows for sure what these scumbags will pass, but they will pass something and call it healthcare reform. It’s possible it could be nothing, a bill that does nothing but funnel money to Acorn and Obama cronies like the stimulus, or it could be far reaching, and really mess things up, but something will be passed.

And when it is passed, the media will trumpet the bill like it was a document handed down from God. There will be much jubilation by the State Run Media. They will spare no expense, and will constantly tell the sheeple how wonderful this bill is, and Obama is perhaps the smartest person to ever draw a breath.

The only thing I wonder about is: Will the media jubilation be enough to put the sheeple back to sleep?

This move would dramatically illustrate the illegitimacy of our political system. Ordinary Americans would understand that they are being ruled by a political elite class that serves only the interest of the political elite class. The sooner America moves toward revolution, the better. Bring it on.

A lot of Dim’ Senators don’t want Nuclear option, even if they want the bill. Dims’ will be in the minority sometime in the future and Pubbies will steamroller this back and everything else that’s really important to them.

We complain about McCain being too friendly to his Dim’ brothers but the US Senate really IS the greatest collaborative body in the world. Most Senators (75 percent) will work across the aisle for compromise.

On Obamacare and Cap-n-Trade, the adults in the Senate will slap back the unruly kids and their Pinko denmothers, Pelosi & Obambi.

The Senate really is the greatest collaborative body in teh world. That's the problem. The Senate is where the elite political class collaborates against the interests of Americans.
