I'm amazed how few people understand the issue that to which Joe Wilson called out the President's lie. I guess it's because we no longer have a functioning news media.
As Obama (the Liar) well knows, the bill in congress will result in coverage for illegals due to other laws. As Obama (the liar) knows, the only way to prevent that is to for this bill to include specific language prohibiting such coverage (unless citizenship is proved). Every attempt to amend exclusion of benefits to illegals into the bill by Republicans had been rejected by the Democrats. (In fact, *every* amendment proposed by Republicans has been rejected because, you know, they are so bipartisan.)
So the deception being artfully foisted by Obama (the liar) is this: "It is a lie to say that the bill explicitly grants coverage to illegal aliens." Yes, it would be a lie (or an error) to state that. Instead, the omission of an exclusion in the bill is what leads to extending "free" health insurance to illegals.
Last night Bill O'Reilly was also misstating the issue, even though Ann Coulter was trying to explain it to him. Of course, watching Coulter (the genius) explain concepts to O'Reilly (the half wit) can be extremely frustrating.

Yesterday I made a small campaign contribution to Joe Wilson link, even though I know nothing about him except that he is courageous enough to speak truth to propaganda. Interestingly, Joe Wilson's House.Gov site has been down ever since the speech, and is still down this morning!

I think there is a bigger issue here than the existing loopholes for illegals (ER and lack of verification of legal status). Hussein has PROMISED to make ‘immigration reform’ his #1 priority for 2010, and he just loves the phrase “path to citizenship”. Illegal? Presto! Path to citizenship! Presto! Legal! Presto! Covered!
I saw a different video on TV where this loophole (that requries health care coverage for illegals) was pointed out to Obama and he acknowledged it with his I’m-so-cool shrug.
