In 2004 Americans pitched in and joined an effort in South Dakota to beat then Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. It was only through a national effort that now Senator John Thune was able to put together a winning effort.

But the good news for them is that they can make money showing up for Harry Reid’s “non-townhall” events.
OK, suspect polling. Harry has not spent one dime of his own contributions yet. ALL the ads running in Nevada are by outside groups. Harry will have enough money to BUY EVERY second of TV and radio time available before the campaign next year. Yes EVERY SECOND. This is a long way from over. The reps are in complete disarray and will tear each other up and spend all of their money for the primacy. It will be a blood bath. Harry does not have to do anything except raise money for the next 4 months.
Here’s my prediction: Reid 50.05% Tarkanian 49.95%, thanks to ACORN’s help by registering every illegal, the dead, the starting offensive line of every football team in the country and printing up thousands of absentee ballots in reserve if it still looks close.
