Congressional Email lists...

Posted on 09/10/2009 4:57:07 PM PDT by Admiral_Zeon

I am planning something big, but I need some support from some fellow conservatives. I am looking for the emails of ALL Congressional representatives from every state. Meaning, all 535 Senators and Representatives. I have looked online and have been unable to find a single congregated list.

TOPICS: Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: congress; healthcare; obamacare
Note: This is not dealing with spam, and is nothing illegal, however I do not want to go into details until after it is in motion.

Some of the E-mail lists you can get are just Trash buckets to hold correspondence until they have time to look at them.
The REAL email addresses you want are on the Business Cards in the offices or on the staff business cards in those same Offices.
You have to visit each office in DC and ask for/collect from onsite. Those are the GOOD email addresses.
I collected slightly over 100 in 5 hours one day, passing out “Position” papers at each office.
They are easy access public buildings, but its a lot of ground to cover.
The staff read their E-mails.
Either this or find a lobbyist Firm to give them to you.

Alot of them do not list emails, but contact pages.

Here is Durbin's (D-Il) contact page: http://durbin.senate.gov/contact.cfm

and here is Debbie Halvorson (D-IL) https://forms.house.gov/halvorson/

Well I am very far away from Washington DC, as in the other extreme end of the country. I would be more than happy to go to every office of 535 of them, but I am not in a position that I can. However, if we could put together a group that could divide the offices together, it would make the effort much less overbearing.

Would an organization like the Heritage Foundation have such a list?

Most are using contact forms now. And some of those even have the "captcha" images. I expect that all of them will have the Captcha images soon.

I used to have a lot of valid ones, but over the years, most of these have stopped working (I mean for the ones that didn't get voted out or retired).

Oh, and for most House members, you'll be asked for an address with a ZIP+4 complete (9 digit) ZIP. If you give them an address not in their district, expect your message to go to straight to the bit bucket. You might not get anything back, or you might get something like, "My contact form is for my constituents in my district to contact me. As you are don't reside in my district, I suggest you contact your Representative for your district." If you don't get an acknowledgment of some kind (email, phone call or letter), then most likely your message didn't get through.

I find that these days, Faxes are a better way to send the message. Though I'm truly not certain that faxes aren't being delivered via email, and being OCR processed and checked for addresses, or having the caller ID from your fax checked to see if you are in the district.

The leaders, especially Committee Chairs do not wish to be contacted by anyone not in their district. Arrogant Nobles can't be bothered by the little people.

Noted, this will just take more work than originally thought. Nothing will stand in the way. I do it for great justice.

Please just do anything mentally unsound or stupid. Conservatives have enough trouble overcoming the Trent IDIOT Lott, John McJerkoff, Arlin Sphincter, Benidict Arnold back stabber types that have screwed conservatism over the years.

I just got over giving out a well deserved bitc*slapping to some idiot puke moderate defending Laura Bush in supporting the Liar ‘n thief and his education stoogery speach.

Too bad. Most members of congress require people to enter their email into web-based forms, to prevent spam, and to make sure people who send them e-mail identify themselves as being their own constituents. I could give you email addresses of 535 members of Congress, but they would be completely useless to you, since all your email would be automatically deleted.
