I know, I know. For months we've heard this. So disappointing that the town halls did zero to change the opinions of any congresspeople. Now we see video of ACORN thugs counseling people on how to bring from overseas teenage sex slaves and prostitutes and not have to pay them anything. No matter how loathsome the Left is revealed to see, the only news today is one congressman calling Obama a liar, so he can be eviscerated by the SRM. Write! Post! Twitter! Don't stay quiet! We can still win this thing.

Sounds like we need to run out the clock past October 15 and we’ll be home free.

“Reconciliation power expires 15 October”
I did not know that. No wonder Obama wants to pass this thing now among other reasons.

Democrats in the House are showing a stack of petitions signed by about 63,000 people that want the public option. If there are any petitions around that want to kill the health bill, sign them. Get them to the Republicans in the House and Senate.

...for this plan which will cost a trillion or more... I thought Obama said it was revenue neutral and would not add one dime to the debt?
Could Joe Wilson be right??

63,000 out of a total universe in excess of 300,000,000 is one serious case of “failure to thrive.”

Democrats in the House are showing a stack of petitions signed by about 63,000 people that want the public option. That's pretty much the size of Nancy Pelosi's staff.

Health care reform quicksand ping! This is why I find politics so much fun now after a few dark years. Instead of republicans getting in trouble, it's democrats.
BTW: Obama wants two bills from congress so he can declare a victory even if both bills are completely opposite of one another. I smell another backstabbing to liberals by the 'democrat leadership' coming. "We need to pass something, anything" Dont forget it is all Rush's fault because earlier he said he wanted Obama to fail.

Ozero will not drop this. He thrives on it.
He knows if he lets up on the domestic stuff MSM will start to fill the airwaves with Afganistan news and that bite him in the butt so he'll drive this news cycle as far as it will go.

Until the little cloak room groups are broken up; until we have term limits in Congress, nothing will change........Some of us had this conversation a few days ago with a couple FReepers who wanted to defend John McCain against our unhappiness for his avowed friendship toward Ted Kennedy. We were bad to criticize him because of his war record. We tried to point out his war record was one thing; his record since then quite another. But that was a non-starter with them.
The simple fact is, the "club" atmosphere in Congress is one of the greatest deterrents to rational reform there is.
