Led by radio talk show host Mike Gallagher, using an ambulance and a stretcher, Salem Radio Networks along with the National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) delivered an unprecedented 1.3 million petition signatures to Congress today opposing the government takeover of health care. At 61,000 pages long it is the largest petition ever delivered to Congress.

The petitions were presented to Republican leaders in Congress including House Minority Leader John Boehner (Ohio), House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (Va.), House Conference Chairman Mike Pence (Ind.) and Republican Study Committee Chairman Tom Price (Ga.). Accepting from the Senate were Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.) and Kay Bailey Hutchison (Texas).

“I accept these petitions from the American people,” Boehner said at the ceremony. “I just want to say to the 1.3 million people who signed the petition we will not let you down.”

And I ask, why in the hell were the petitions not delivered to the (Van Jones favorite name) Democrats?

I hope it is taken to the floor of the Senate. Let it stay on the Republicans desk and add any more that come in.

why didn’t they deliver these to Nancy and Harry?

Because if the delivery was direct to them, the petitions would have disappeared without a trace.

The communists in the Democratic party still might push it though if they can get a one vote majority;never forget Senator Feinstein’s statement that if only they could have gotten 51 votes,Mr. and Mrs. America would have been told to “turn them all in”,as did happen in formerly Great Britain.

So then it appears as if it was a waste of time to collect the signatures. If the Democrats will _____ can them and the Republicans won’t do anything with them then why bother. If the Republicans had some testicles then maybe it would be worth the effort but from what I have seen they are all girly men. And besides the majority of the US population seem happy to have the Democrat majorities in Congress.
