In England they yell out in the House of Commons when it is perceived the person with the floor is lying and Ozero is lying if his mouth is moving.
Why is it in bad taste to call this punk a liar when he is in fact lying?
More of the pubbies should have stood on their seats and yelled out LIAR.

In the British House of Commons, I think they are forbidden from using the word "lie". If a member says "they are lying", the Speaker will admonish him to withdraw his remarks. If he doesn't withdraw, the Sergeant-at-Arms will come at take him out of the chamber for the day.

All that said, I have no problem with that word being used against Obama in the U.S. House or anywhere.

Why don’t we just go the whole 9 yards and adopt SE Asia’s “when in doubt, fistfight!” legislative mentality?
