Deputies and cadaver dogs searched the area thoroughly Tuesday night but found no other body parts at that time.
Homicide and coroner's investigators were checking missing persons reports, among other things, to identify the person.
The remains were found near a middle school, but Whitmore says there's no reason to be believe there's any connection and students and their parents should not be concerned.

Probably no reason for THOSE students and parents to worry.
The students and parents of the area the body came from (Compton? Bird-Doo? Chino?) may have cause for concern, however.
Body parts are irrelevant. Move along.
