McCain lost the election by being too civil towards a group of anarchists and Marxist revolutionaries.

McCain isn't just "too civil." McCain is in bed with them!

Exactly. McCain may have appeared to have survived his ordeal in the hands of the North Vietnamese Commies but the following years in which he appeared to show something bordering on actual affection for his captors confirms what McCain himself admitted, that he reached his breaking point (having made a propaganda statement for the benefit of the North Vietnamese).

After reaching the Senate years later, his strident efforts to stymie many attempts at getting to the bottom of the issue of possible U.S. POWs still alive in Vietnam, combined with his pro-Vietnam views regarding trade and economic ties reinforce the impression that psychologically, McCain remained broken insofar as his Communist torturers were concerned and one cannot rule out that entire 'Manchurian candidate' angle.

The fact is, I don't blame McCain for what could very well be the human failing of being unable to withstand the torture that he was subjected to. What is tragic is that to the best of my knowledge, the guy has never undergone a true psychological evaluation to determine if he is indeed mentally sound. He talks a good game, but his cozying up to liberals, leftists, Marxists and traitors all point to something very seriously wrong with his thinking.
